5.3. Adding Workflows

To add a new workflow to a web site:

  1. Click Manage in the Perforce Chronicle toolbar.
  2. Click Workflows.
    The Manage Workflows screen is displayed.
  3. Click Add Workflow.

    The Add Workflow dialog is displayed.
  4. Define the workflow by specifying the following information:
    An identifier for this workflow that must be unique among workflows. Valid characters include letters, numbers, dashes, slashes ("/"), underscores, and periods.
    A friendly identifier for this workflow.
    A description of this workflow that is displayed in the Manage Workflows screen.
    Specifies the states that compose the workflow. For more detail, see Section 5.6, “Specifying Workflows”.
  5. Click Save. The Manage Workflows screen is redisplayed, listing your new workflow.
