19.4. Adding and Removing Modules

Modules contain files in the hierarchy described in Section 13.2, “Folder Structure”. To add and remove modules, you must have access to the filesystem where Perforce Chronicle is installed (represented as CMSDIR in the following instructions).

19.4.1. To add a module:

  1. Move the module folder to the following location: CMSDIR/sites/all/modules/
  2. To verify that the new module is detected, choose Manage > Modules. If the module is correctly defined and located, it is displayed in the list of modules.

19.4.2. To remove a module:

  1. Disable the module that you intend to remove.
  2. In the filesystem, navigate to CMSDIR/sites/all/modules/
  3. Delete the folder that contains the module.
  4. To verify that the module is deleted, choose Manage > Modules and note that the module is no longer displayed in the list of modules.
