6.11. Adding Categories

To add a new category:

  1. Click Manage in the Perforce Chronicle toolbar.
  2. Click Categories.

    The Manage Categories screen is displayed.
  3. Click Add Category. The Add Category dialog is displayed.
  4. Define the category by specifying the following information:
    Title
    Text displayed when the category is listed, for example in the Categories widget.
    Parent Category
    Enables you to define hierarchies by subordinating the category you are creating to the parent you choose.
    Description
    A description of the category.
    Index Page
    An existing content entry that is displayed when users navigate to the category. If left blank, a default presentation is displayed.
  5. Click Save. The Manage Categories screen is redisplayed listing your new category.
